What's the difference betwen a Picnic Boat and a Day Boat?
Picnic Boat - a fully featured cabin cruiser. Larger than a day boat, it has cooking facilities, WC and heating. Retractable all-weather canopy. Diesel Engine. Max 8 Passengers. Passage under Wroxham & Potter Heigham bridges by river pilot only.
Day Boat - a basic vessel capable of passage under all bridges. Has a retractable all-weather canopy. Diesel Engine. No facilities. Max 8 Passengers.
Freedom's launches and picnic boats are perfect for exploring the Norfolk Broads network. Our day boats are low enough to get under all the bridges ensuring that you're not restricted to cruising only certain Broads and rivers.

When calculating the number of passengers, you must include everyone who is to travel; babies and dogs shall count as one passenger each.

Horning Dinghy & Canoe Hire
Freedom Cruisers has a selection of dinghies and canoes available to hire throughout the year.
There are four main categories of dinghy available: Rowing Dinghy, Sailing Dinghy, Fishing Dinghy and Canoe.

*Multiple-day dinghy & canoe hire is subsidised for holiday hirers - anyone who is not hiring a cruiser with the dinghy will be subjected to a surcharge for weekly dinghy hire which shall double the cost.
** Our fishing Dinghies include a small outboard engine, full tank of fuel, oars and lifejacket. They are suitable for no more than two people. When hired for more than a day, the outboard engine is not included.
